Safety of the passengers has always been a top priority for Maritime and Ports Authorities. Therefore boat passengers are reminded to always wear life jackets at all times throughout the journey until reach destinations.

A life jacket can save life that it helps to stay afloat, thus prevent from drowning especially during rough weather, strong winds or unexpected incident and makes the wearer to be more visible during a rescue operation.

Life Jackets are important safety equipment items that have to be made available by all boat operators to their passengers. MPA would also like to urge Boat Operators to ensure all passengers to wear life jackets before starting a journey and passengers to be more responsible for their Safety.
